Boston Logan International Airport: New England’s major gateway to the skies

Carrying more than 19 million passengers in 2017, Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is the 16th busiest airport in the whole country. Featuring four terminals, it acts as a major hub for many airlines and offers non-stop flights to over 40 different international destinations and connecting flights to many more. Air France, for example, flies to over 80 cities right across Europe, Asia and Africa from Boston, with connecting flights typically in Paris or Amsterdam. Access is via MA-1A N, I-90 E, I-93 S or MA-1A S. MBTA’s Silver Line SL1 bus service stops at all four terminals (leaving from South Station). The Blue Line operates every 2 minutes at peak frequency to Airport Station, from where you can pick up the Massport shuttle bus to all terminals. The Logan Express, meanwhile, runs from Back Bay, Braintree, Framingham, Woburn and Peabody.
