Pensacola International Airport: Northwest Florida’s global gateway!

Pensacola International Airport is the biggest airport in the northwest of the state of Florida. The airport handled just under 1.7 million passengers in 2017, flying to a total of 18 different airports in the USA. No fewer than five airports in Texas are served, as well as destinations throughout the mid-west, south-east and eastern seaboard. Atlanta is by far and away the busiest route, partly due to its huge selection of onward flights. These include routes to Paris Charles de Gaulle flown by Air France and their Sky Team partner, Delta Air Lines. From Paris it is possible to continue on your way with the French flag carrier to Africa, the Middle East, eastern Europe, Asia and even Australasia.

Although Pensacola can claim to be one of the oldest cities in the USA, (it is over 450 years since a settlement here was established by the Spanish), it is also home to one of the quickest average commute times in the nation – just 19 minutes!

Pensacola International Airport, in the northeast of the city, is a 10 to 20 minute drive from downtown via I-110N, N 12th Avenue and Airport Blvd. If coming via I-110S, look out for exit 5. Two economy lots, a surface lot and a cellphone lot await you. All parking is within walking distance of the terminal. There is no public transit service to the airport - the ECAT route 31 runs closest to the terminal but a 15-minute walk is required to complete the journey. Lyft and Uber are both authorized to operate at PNS, as are multiple taxi firms and shuttle services.
